
A judge in Lyuliang city, North China's Shanxi province, has been removed from his post following allegations of indecent assault on a litigant, according to the local authorities.
The standing committee of the people's congress of Lyuliang announced on Thursday that Lyu Yunsuo, judge and head of the trial supervision division of Lyuliang Intermediate People's Court, had been removed from his positions. The decision was approved during a committee meeting the previous day.

Earlier media reports indicate that a woman surnamed Wang in Lyuliang alleged that on Sept 5 last year, Lyu indecently assaulted her inside his office while she was assisting with case inquiries.
On April 10, the local public security bureau initiated an administrative case filing in response to Wang's complaint. Subsequently, Lyu was suspended from his post, and local discipline inspection and supervision authorities launched an investigation.
