A wave of purple has swept across Zhongshan Talent Park (中山人才公园) in Zhongshan, Guangdong, as its expansive fields of verbena have reached their peak bloom.
The flowering season for the plant is notably long, typically running from April through July.
Photography enthusiasts often frame the flower fields against the backdrop of nearby city rail trains and high-rise buildings, capturing a striking contrast between nature and the urban skyline.
Situated in the core of Qijiang New City (岐江新城) in northeastern Zhongshan, the park features 7,130 meters of walking trails and signature attractions, including the Qianli Tower (千里塔) and Starlight Bridge (星光桥).
Admission is free.
