Chinese shares open lower Monday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks opened lower on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.75 percent to open at 3,884.28 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 1.03 percent lower at 13,618.79 points.
