HONG KONG – The Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of Hong Kong has reached a five-year collaboration arrangement with Art Basel, consolidating the special administrative region’s status as the exclusive regional host city.
Apart from holding the annual fair each March, Art Basel Hong Kong will continue to promote public art and education in the city and support the bureau in developing strategies to further enhance the local art ecosystem and market.
The agreement aims to deepen the SAR government's partnership with the world-renowned art fair over the next five years, the government said in a statement.
