Chinese shares open lower Wednesday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks opened lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.85 percent to open at 4,087.63 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 1.2 percent lower at 13,854.37 points.
