MOSCOW - Russian forces struck Ukrainian military-related targets in response to Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilian facilities over the past week, Russia's Defense Ministry said Friday.

From Sunday to Friday, Russian forces conducted one large-scale strike and six coordinated group strikes using high-precision armaments, including the Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles, it said.

The strikes neutralized a range of key targets across Ukraine, including military-industrial enterprises, energy facilities supporting their operations, and transport and port infrastructure backing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the ministry said.
