MACAO - Chinese Minister of Science and Technology Yin Hejun on Tuesday unveiled plaques for four national key laboratories in China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR).
At the ceremony, Macao SAR Chief Executive Sam Hou-fai said that the four laboratories, rooted in Macao and serving the nation, have achieved remarkable results in scientific research, technology transfer, talent cultivation, and international cooperation.
He noted that the Macao SAR government will further enhance synergy of science and technology, talent and industry to make unique contributions to building a strong country in science and technology, as well as achieving high-level self-reliance in this field.

Yin noted that the plaque-awarding marked the formal inclusion of the four laboratories in Macao into national key laboratories, and encouraged the four laboratories to strive to achieve more progress.
