HONG KONG - The Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo 2025 will be held from July 16 to 22 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, featuring over 770 exhibitors and a series of sport and leisure activities.

At the press conference, players demonstrated F9A Drone Soccer and HADO, both being introduced in local schools and training programs. In drone soccer, participants control spherical drones in a netted arena to score through a designated goal. HADO, an augmented reality sport, uses motion sensors and headsets to allow players to launch virtual projectiles and activate shields.

The Expo will run concurrently with the Hong Kong Book Fair and World of Snacks. Highlights include interactive zones for pickleball, archery, rowing, and drone-based activities. A new Travel Zone will feature pavilions from Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan region.

The FIBA 3x3 World Tour Hong Kong will take place on July 19 and 20 as part of the Expo program.

Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the event aims to promote sports participation and introduce new formats of physical activity and entertainment.
