Hong Kong stocks close lower

HONG KONG - Hong Kong stock market ended lower Wednesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 1.06 percent to close at 23,892.32 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index slid 1.28 percent to close at 8,597.27 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index decreased 1.76 percent to close at 5,231.99 points.
