HONG KONG - The award presentation ceremony of the “Hong Kong National Security Law – Safeguards and Hopes” social media post competition was held on Saturday during the opening ceremony of the 5th Anniversary of Promulgation and Implementation of Hong Kong National Security Law Forum.

Xia Baolong, director of the Hong Kong and Macao Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, and Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu presented the awards to the winners at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The competition was organized by the Department of Justice and the Security Bureau and supported by the Education Bureau to mark the 5th anniversary of the implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law and the commencement of the Safeguarding National Security Ordinance upon gazettal in March 2024.
