Chinese shares close higher Wednesday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.04 percent to 3,388.81 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.24 percent higher at 10,175.59 points.
