HONG KONG - The northeast monsoon brought chilly weather across Hong Kong on Monday, with many areas recording temperatures of 12 degree Celsius or lower.

A cloud band over the Guangdong coast and northern South China Sea is adding to the overcast conditions. Residents are advised to stay warm as the cold spell continues.

China Daily's Adam Lam took the photos on Monday.
