BEIJING - Oscar Maritu looks set to join Yunnan Yukun amid reports that he has reached agreement with the newly-promoted Chinese Super League club.
The striker from the Democratic Republic of the Congo arrived on Wednesday night in Yuxi, Yunnan province where Yukun is based, and will join the team for pre-season training on Friday, according to local reports.

A picture posted on the internet showed the forward clustered by a group of fans under a Yunnan Yukun banner.
Local media reported that Maritu and the Yunnan club have agreed on a three-year contract with a one-year option.

Maritu left China's top flight side Cangzhou Mighty Lions in mid-August amid a pay dispute.
