ABU DHABI - The first day of the third edition of the Global Media Congress commenced today at the ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi, with the participation of media leaders, officials, and experts from around the world.
The event featured in-depth discussions on the future of the media industry and ways to empower talents, creatives, and influencers to produce innovative and reliable content.
Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi, acting director-general of the Emirates News Agency (WAM) and chairman of the Organising Committee of the Global Media Congress, noted that the event addresses pressing challenges within the media sector while exploring emerging trends and opportunities in traditional and digital media.
He emphasized the congress' role in reinforcing the UAE’s position as a global hub for shaping the future of media and nurturing creative talents, influencers, and innovators in the fields of media and social communication.

He said that with participation from prominent media leaders, decision-makers, and influencers from around the world, the congress aims to deliver impactful outcomes through interactive sessions and discussions.

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, managing director and group CEO of ADNEC Group, stressed that the congress strengthens Abu Dhabi's position as a leading destination for international events.
