A dance with Wing Chun

HONG KONG - A dance drama featuring a popular form of Chinese martial arts Wing Chun will be performed at the the Hong Kong Cultural Centre from Friday to Sunday.

Titled Wing Chun, the drama was created and performed by the Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theater and produced by the authorities in Shenzhen.

Starring a talented Hong Kong production team to bring exciting new elements to the show, the special edition of the drama will be staged as the finale of the 4th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Culture and Arts Festival

Another highlight is the drama's theme song Wing Chun, which has been composed, produced and sung by renowned local artist George Lam Tsz-cheung. Local young conductor Fung Ka-hing is leading The Symphonic Pops to create a live performance for the show. 

A graduate from the School of Dance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Huang Danyang will also be part of the artist line-up.
