The Heritage Fiesta 2026, themed "Traversing Northern Metropolis", is set to take place from October to December, showcasing 12 sites featuring monuments and graded historic buildings in Hong Kong's Northern Metropolis.

A spokesperson for the Commissioner for Heritage's Office of the Development Bureau said that Northern Metropolis is not only a key focus and new engine for Hong Kong's future development, but its traditional towns and villages also boast rich historical and cultural resources.

The Heritage Fiesta 2026 promises a diverse array of activities. Alongside free guided tours, parent-child workshops, and public talks, open-top bus heritage tours will be introduced for the first time on designated weekends.
