Celebrating local cultural creativity, the Hong Kong Avenue of Comic Stars opened a new section in Kowloon Park, Tsim Sha Tsui on Wednesday.
Honoring the contributions of Hong Kong comic artists, the new section, themed "Inheritance", of the popular public space features a walkway that showcases 40 statues of popular comic characters, along with two new staircases adorned with oil paintings depicting comics from different eras.
With the support of the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, the Hong Kong Comics and Animation Federation established the "Hong Kong Avenue of Comic Stars" in 2012, which has established itself as a landmark for experiencing local cultural creativity and has become a popular spot for photography.
Since then, it has launched four additional sections, offering residents and tourists alike a refreshing and immersive experience that highlights the vibrant diversity and charm of Hong Kong.
