The 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China is being celebrated with festive displays, official events, and free rides in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The city is offering free Star Ferry rides for three consecutive days from Monday to Wednesday and free tram rides on Tuesday, while the rest of the territory is adorned with commemorative displays, featuring the vibrant red color banners that symbolizes this significant milestone.
China Daily's Adam Lam and Andy Chong took the photos.
