In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, a fire dragon dance was staged in Aberdeen on Tuesday to pray for favorable weather and peace.
The fire dragon, crafted from straw, was maneuvered by 75 people in a dynamic dance, while youths paraded around with luminous dragons and lanterns, symbolizing the passing of tradition from generation to generation.
