Travelers to Hong Kong will get a taste of the richness of the city’s artistic and cultural heritage right after arrival at the Hong Kong International Airport.
The Hong Kong Artisan Avenue, a highlight of the airport’s arts and culture festival, is showcasing an interactive art installation at the airport's arrivals hall that features the city's traditional crafts and unique cultural experiences.
It promotes six treasured local crafts, most of which have been officially recognized as part of the city's intangible cultural heritage, including flower board crafting, Hong Kong-style milk tea, Chinese dim sum, bamboo steamer and mahjong tile making, as well as the "Lee Hon Kong Kai" calligraphy.
