Attention shutterbugs in the Greater Bay Area: a photography and video competition showcasing the natural beauty, cultural heritage, and economic development of Sanzao town in Guangdong’s Zhuhai city is now accepting submissions.

Titled "Zuimei-Sanzao" (醉美·三灶), the competition offers prizes valued up to 10,000 yuan. Entries will be evaluated in two categories: general public and university students, according to Zhuhai Jinwan, a WeChat public account of Zhuhai's Jinwan district.

Sanzao (Three Stoves, 三灶), named after an island where fishermen cook their meals, boasts a stunning coastline and picturesque rural scenery. It is also home to the Zhuhai International Airport and the China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, as well as the campuses of several universities, colleges, and vocational schools.

The submission period is from July 29 to Nov 25, and the evaluation period is from Nov 26 to Nov 30. Winners will be announced from Dec 1 to Dec 7, and the award ceremony will be held on Dec 14.
