Railway services in Guangdong restored after disruption from heavy rain

Railway services in Guangdong have begun to recover from the disruption caused by the recent heavy rainfall, providing relief to passengers and businesses, reports Guangzhou Daily.

Starting Monday, high-speed rail lines such as the Meishan High-Speed Rail and the Shantou-Shantou High-Speed Rail have resumed normal operations. Additionally, more high-speed train services on major routes including the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Rail and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Rail have been added.

As of 6 pm Monday, 12 normal-speed trains on the Beijing-Guangzhou line have resumed operation, namely: K9221 and K9223 between Changsha, Hunan and Huizhou, Guangdong; K9263 and K9264 between Huaihua, Hunan and Guangzhou, Guangdong; K9218 and K9217 between Shenzhen, Guangdong and Changsha, Hunan; K9126 and K9128 between Guangzhou, Guangdong and Yongzhou, Hunan; Z8302 and Z8301 between Guangzhou, Guangdong and Shimenxianbei (Shimen County East) in Changde, Hunan; K9260 between Shenzhendong (Shenzhen East) in Shenzhen, Guangdong and Songtao in Tongren, Guizhou; and K9259 between Huaihua, Hunan and Shenzhendong (Shenzhen East) in Shenzhen, Guangdong.
