The 2026 Greater Bay Area Flower Show will run from Friday to April 6 in Shenzhen's Bijiashan Sports Park (笔架山体育公园), set to unveil a spectacular celebration of horticultural artistry.

This year’s flower show will theme on iris, a flower revered as the "Rainbow Goddess" of the plant kingdom for its stunning spectrum of colors.

Visitors can explore over 30 floral displays spread across four zones. The "Masters' Garden" will feature creations from renowned domestic and international designers, while the "Bay Area Garden" will weave together regional culture with landscape artistry. The "Urban Garden" will reflect Shenzhen's characteristics and humanistic spirit, and the "Flower Market" will recreate the atmosphere of a bustling bazaar.

To ensure a seamless and safe visitor experience, park authorities have implemented phased closures for preparation. Parts of Bijiashan Sports Park have been under managed enclosure since March 1. The badminton and table tennis courts, used for flower displays, will reopen by April 16 after restoration.

Admission to the flower show is free.

The event is easily accessible via Shenzhen Metro Line 10 (Donggualing Station, Exit E) or several public bus routes stopping at Lianhua Yicun (莲花一村) or Upper Hills (深业上城) bus terminal. For motorists, the park’s parking requires advance reservation, but the nearby Upper Hills mall offers some 4,000 parking spaces.
