Pouring rain could not dampen the excitement for the 2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony, as people across Paris enthusiastically watched a live broadcast of the event.

The ceremony has grabbed the attention of the entire world as well, making history as the Olympic opening ceremony was hosted outdoors for the first time.
