HONG KONG – The Hong Kong Shopping Festival, set to be held from Aug 1 to Aug 31, will be held across mainland e-commerce platforms, with more than 230 local brands taking part.
The event aims to assist local small and medium-sized enterprises in exploring the mainland e-commerce market, increasing their exposure among mainland consumers and promoting the “Hong Kong brand”.
McDull with Tramways
To commemorate the 120th anniversary of Hong Kong Tramways on July 30, a series of exciting events will be offered at the Central Market in Hong Kong, a revitalized cultural landmark, from July 31 to Sept 8.
Each floor of the market will feature distinct areas for photo taking, dining, games, and souvenir shopping. Numerous activities will spotlight the beloved local cartoon character "McDull”.
Residents unable to attend the activities at Central Market can capture shots of Tram No. 120 and Tram No. 300 and share them on social media. Selected posts could win a year of free tram rides and a valuable souvenir.
TCM opportunities
The 5th China International Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Health Services (Shenzhen) Expo will be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Shenzhen from July 31 to Aug 2, offering fresh information and opportunities for industry practitioners.
Themed "Spotlight on Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lead Innovation and Development", the event will grasp global TCM industry trends.
The 30,000-square-meter expo will showcase over 600 brands to over 50,000 professional buyers and include exhibits on TCM development achievements, materials, medical and healthcare services, therapies, as well as smart TCM technologies.
