The first exhibition in China focusing on Hua Yan, an ancient Chinese painter famously known as one of the Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou in the art world, opened at the Guangdong Museum on Wednesday.

Titled "Elegance, Refinement, Style: Paintings of Hua Yan", the exhibition will run through Oct 7, 2024. It showcases nearly 70 works of Hua Yan, with over 90 percent of them being rare cultural relics.
