HONG KONG - The awards ceremony for the 14th Hong Kong National Photographic Art Exhibition and the 2024 China Photography Jinlong Award was held on Monday at Hong Kong's Po Lin Monastery.
This year's exhibition received over 150,000 submissions from around 6,000 local and international photographers. Approximately 1,200 works were selected to receive awards across nine categories.
The event, organized by the China Visual Ltd, was attended by officials, photographers, media professionals, as well as the abbot and monks of the Po Lin Monastery
Ng Lin Sing, permanent honorary president of the Chinese Photographic Association of Hong Kong Ltd, was honored with the lifetime achievement award. The overall grand prize was awarded to Zhang Jin for his Buddhist-themed masterpiece Kong Kim.
The event, organized by the China Visual Ltd, was attended by officials, photographers, media professionals, as well as the abbot and monks of the Po Lin Monastery.

The Hong Kong National Photographic Art Exhibition and China Photography Jinlong Award were co-founded in 2006 by renowned photographer Lv Houmin, photography theorist Han Zishan, and photography activist Hua Zi.
The exhibition's mission is to amplify the global exchange of Chinese photography and spur the developmentof China's photographic industry. Since its inception, the exhibition has been successfully held in multiple countries and regions.
