Mullah Janan Saeq, a spokesman for the country's national disaster authority, said, "In some provinces, such as Faryab province, several compatriots were missing and were affected by floods, and the search is ongoing."
"I am 60, and I have never seen such a flood. Fifteen people from our families were killed, and five people are missing," Muhammad Dadullah, a resident of Bilchiragh district of the northern Faryab province, told Xinhua.

At least 120 had been killed in the latest round of heavy rains and flash floods in Faryab and the western Ghor province on Friday and Saturday, local officials said Sunday.
