Located in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, a century-old building where Zhou Enlai once lived officially opened to the public on Tuesday, marking his 126th birth anniversary.

An N-shaped Western-style structure, the historic Wende Building consists of five connected three-story buildings. In the fall of 1925, it was rented to Zhou and other Communist Party members.

Visitors can get an idea about the lives of Zhou, his wife Deng Yingchao and other Party members through letters, books, photos, and other items on display.

China Daily photographer Parker Zheng took the photos.
