China, Uruguay elevate ties

BEIJING — Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with Uruguayan President Luis Alberto Lacalle Pou in Beijing on Wednesday.
The two heads of state announced the elevation of bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
