Pingjiang Road area is the specific historic and cultural protected area in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, and was an important grain storage center during Ming and Qing dynasties. In 2009, Pingjiang Road was one of the first ten listed “Famous historical and cultural streets of China.”
