HONG KONG - The iconic pair of 18-meter rubber ducks bid farewell to Hongkongers on Sunday as the curtain was set to come down on the popular public art exhibition featuring the yellow giants.

Despite the rainy weather, throngs of city residents went to the promenade along Admiralty and Tsim Sha Tsui to catch a last glimpse or photo of the installations by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman.

Marking Father's Day, one of the ducks made a trip to Tsim Sha Tsui, passing numerous landmarks to greet fans on the Kowloon shoreline before rejoining its partner off Tamar Park in Admiralty. The exhibition was set to end Sunday.
