Tianjin holds Wuhan in Chinese Super League

BEIJING - Tianjin Jinmen Tiger and Wuhan Three Towns played out a 1-1 draw in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.

Wuhan took the lead in the fifth minute when Brazilian striker Ademilson volleyed home, but Tianjin midfielder Wang Qiuming equalized nine minutes later. Both sides created several chances afterwards, but failed to find the net again.

Defending CSL champions Wuhan now sits eighth in the table with 15 points, while Tianjin stays fourth on 19 points.

Elsewhere, Wang Haijian's free-kick helped Shanghai Shenhua edge Cangzhou Mighty Lions 1-0, and Nantong Zhiyun beat Qingdao Hainiu 1-0.
