NICOSIA - Wu Cuicui took the second silver medal for China at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Larnaca, Cyprus from the women's trap event on Saturday.
Wu finished third in the qualification after shoot-off and made it into the medal match as top finisher in her bracket of the ranking match.
With three perfect series in the medal match, Wu tied with Lucy Charlotte Hall of Britain at 22 hits after five series, but stumbled in the next two and lost the title to the 19-year-old with 27 hits to 29. Penny Smith of Australia took the bronze.

The men's trap gold went to Anton Glasnovic of Croatia, who beat home shooter Andreas Makri through shoot-off after both made 32 hits in the medal match. Two-time Olympian Abdel-Aziz Mehelba of Egypt ranked third.
The Larnaca World Cup will continue on Sunday with the final event of trap mixed team.
