More than 200 representatives to attend financial forum in HK

HONG KONG - The 16th Asian Financial Forum will be held from Jan 11 to Jan 12 in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with more than 200 business representatives from around the world confirmed to participate in the event, organizers said on Friday.

The forum, organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will be held in a hybrid format under the theme "Accelerating Transformation: Impact, Inclusion, Innovation".

The forum will include more than 40 discussion sessions, featuring financial, government and business leaders to shed light on major topics, including global economic outlook and regional trade collaborations.

Patrick Lau, deputy executive director of the HKTDC, said at the press conference that the organizers are pleased to see the huge interest to join the forum. He believes that the forum platform enables all participants to have closer interactions and create more business opportunities.
