WUYUAN, China - Nanjing smashed Yunnan 3-0, while Tianjin beat Huangshi 3-1 in the third round of the 2022-23 Chinese men's Volleyball Super League on Monday.

Yunnan once narrowed the deficit to two points in the third set, but Serbian outside hitter Mihajlo Stankovic and captain Yu Yuantai grabbed five points each, helping Nanjing win 25-16.

Stankovic scored a game-high 15 points, while Yu added 10 points. Captain Li Ben led Yunnan with eight points.

Tianjin snatched a 25-27, 25-18, 25-22 and 25-23 win over Huangshi. Lin Haikun had a game-high 22 points for Huangshi, while Tianjin's Luo Zhuang and Du Haixiang contributed 19 and 17 respectively.

Another game saw Shandong beat Baoding 25-22, 19-25, 18-25, 25-22, 15-11 in a five-set thriller to take their second victory in the league. Zhai Dejun scored a game-high 24 points for Shandong, while Ukrainian spiker Tymofii Poluian contributed 23 for Baoding.
