Ping An Insurance net profit up 39% in 2019

BEIJING — Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd  announced its net profit surged 39.1 percent year-on-year to 149.4 billion yuan (US$21.3 billion) in 2019.

In a filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the financial conglomerate said it generated a revenue of 1.17 trillion yuan last year, an annual increase of 19.7 percent.
