HANGZHOU – Chinese Premier Li Qiang met on Wednesday with Kyrgyzstan's Cabinet of Ministers Chairman Adylbek Aleshovich Kasymaliev at the fifth Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou, the provincial capital of Zhejiang in East China.

Noting that China-Kyrgyzstan relations have steadily advanced and cooperation has ushered in a golden period of rapid development under the guidance of two heads of state, Li said China stands ready to enhance coordination and cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, implement the outcomes of the state visit by the Chinese president, promote more achievements in building a China-Kyrgyzstan community with a shared future, and better benefit the two peoples.

Li said that China is willing to work with Kyrgyzstan to better align development strategies, continuously deepen high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, promote two-way trade and investment, and advance the construction of projects including the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway and the modernization of ports.

China also stands ready to expand cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital economy, green energy and finance, and enhance cooperation in culture, tourism, education and healthcare to consolidate the public opinion foundation for bilateral friendship, Li added.

Lauding tremendous development achievements made by the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Kasymaliev said Kyrgyzstan firmly adheres to the one-China principle, and that it is willing to work with China to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, and deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields.

Kasymaliev said Kyrgyzstan supports the four major global initiatives, the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization and the International Organization for Mediation, and is willing to work closely with China on multilateral platforms to jointly promote world stability and prosperity.
