Senior executives from five Shenzhen Stock Exchange-listed companies pitched their growth stories to more than 30 British institutional investors on Sept 22, in the first leg of the bourse's "Listed Companies Global Roadshow" designed to showcase China's new quality productive forces to international capital.
The London session brought together UK asset managers, pension funds and other long-term investors with Shenzhen-listed companies in artificial intelligence, high-end manufacturing and new energy sectors.
Companies taking part included Zhejiang Sanhua Intelligent Controls, Mindray Medical, Guangdong Lingyi iTech Manufacturing Co Ltd, and iFlytek.
UK delegates said the face-to-face event organized by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange offered them a much fuller picture of the listed companies' growth potential and long-term value.
International investors are paying particular attention to China's industrial innovation and high-quality development, and this has further strengthened their resolve to continue building exposure to the Chinese market.
Several other overseas institutions said they would continue to monitor high-quality Chinese companies and step up on-the-ground research to identify fresh investment opportunities in the country.
Sanhua Intelligent Controls said its overseas sales reached 7.05 billion yuan ($1.05 billion) in the first half of 2026, accounting for 41.73 percent of its total revenue. The company stated international business has become a structural pillar of its earnings, with a customer network spanning Europe and other major global markets.
Mindray Medical, which ranks among the top three globally in medical-device market share, said its European business — building on two consecutive years of rapid growth — posted year-on-year revenue growth of nearly 25 percent in the first half of 2026, with the UK, France and Italy each recording growth above 30 percent.
A spokesperson for the Shenzhen Stock Exchange said the London event marked the start of a broader international outreach campaign aimed at deepening two-way connectivity between Chinese listed companies and global long-term capital.
