
HONG KONG - The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) on Thursday said that funds raised through IPO in the first seven months of 2026 were HK$328.2 billion ($41.8 billion), up 154 percent from the same period last year.
Data showed that the HKEX recorded 104 new listings in the first six months of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 96 percent.
The average daily turnover in July stood at HK$307.2 billion, up 17 percent year-on-year. The average daily turnover for the first seven months climbed 18 percent to HK$286.8 billion, according to the HKEX.
By the end of July, the HKEX had 2,763 listed companies with a total market capitalization of about HK$46.8 trillion.
