Hong Kong residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a one-stop experience of global cuisine, fine wines, tea culture, health and beauty products, and smart home appliances, when more than 1,850 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions will gather at the 36th Food Expo and four other concurrent fairs at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in mid-August.
Hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the fairs this year will run under the theme of “Live Well, Stay Well” — a choice that HKTDC Associate Executive Director Smilely Lam Yuk‑fung said reflects the growing market interest in wellness, quality living and holistic well-being.
The three public‑facing fairs — the 36th Food Expo, the 10th Beauty and Wellness Expo and the 12th Home Delights Expo – will run from Aug 13-17. The two trade‑oriented events, the 4th Food Expo Pro and the 17th Hong Kong International Tea Fair will take place from Aug 13-15.

The five exhibitions together feature 43 pavilions, with several brand‑new zones tailored to emerging consumer trends: the Food Expo Pro debuts a dedicated meat zone alongside a room‑temperature pet‑food section, while the Beauty and Wellness Expo introduces a “Stay Relax” zone for stress‑relief experiences, and the Home Delights Expo unveils a “Go Sleep Exp”, showcasing products and tips for better rest.
Lam said that this is the first time the two trade fairs bring together exhibitors from all 11 member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, including debut appearances of Brunei and Timor-Leste.
“As an international food trading hub, Hong Kong provides food companies with an ideal gateway to the Chinese mainland and global markets,” she said.
Emphasizing Hong Kong’s role as a superconnector, Lam added that the council is committed to bringing enterprises into Hong Kong while also helping local and regional businesses expand overseas through the city’s platform.
In addition, to mark the HKTDC’s 60th anniversary, a host of admission and spending promotions have been rolled out. Members of the public can enjoy free admission before noon each day of the fairs by presenting designated promotional flyers, with 600 quotas available daily. Many exhibitors are also offering special “6”‑themed deals, including products priced at just HK$6 (76 US cents) or HK$60.
