HONG KONG – The Chinese Culture Festival 2026, which began in June and runs through September in Hong Kong, aims to promote Chinese culture and attract top-tier artists and arts groups for exchanges in Chinese arts and heritage.

A key highlight of the CCF 2026 is its special outreach program, which offers free performances for students and community members to experience Chinese opera.

The event showcases operatic excerpts performed by the Luoyang Yu Opera Troupe, including "Huarong Pass from The Righteous and the Loyal" and "On the Way to Battle from Hua Mulan". Guided appreciation and demonstration sessions are also provided to help young audiences gain a deeper understanding of Yu Opera, one of the five major operatic genres in China.
