A reception was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre following the flag-raising ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square to mark the 29th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

One of the highlights at the reception was Hong Kong’s first astronaut, Lai Ka-ying, delivering best wishes via a video.
