HONG KONG - A special exhibition was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre to mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).
Part of a series of celebratory events, the exhibition showcased rarely-seen photographs, illustrations, and data on the history of the HKTDC, a statutory body established in 1966 to promote Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.
Other than the exhibition, the HKTDC will also launch the anniversary-themed tram, a special giveaway campaign during the Hong Kong Book Fair and a community art co-creation event.
China Daily photographer Edmond Tang took the photos.
