HONG KONG - Everyone across Hong Kong was bundled up in coats, down jackets, hats, and scarves to shield themselves from strong, cold winds on Wednesday morning, as the city's temperature generally fell to 10 degrees Celsius or below.
The headquarters of the Hong Kong Observatory in Tsim Sha Tsui recorded 10.9 degrees Celsius, the lowest so far this winter.
Under the persistent influence of a winter monsoon, it will be cold in the morning from Wednesday to Friday. The monsoon is expected to moderate slightly during the weekend, and temperatures will rise slightly.
China Daily photographer Adam Lam took the photos.
