China launches Long March-12A Y1 rocket, 2nd stage enters planned orbit

JIUQUAN - China launched the Long March-12A Y1 carrier rocket on Tuesday from Northwest China. Its second stage entered the designated orbit, but the recovery of its first stage failed.
