HONG KONG – The "2025 Top Ten Government Achievements Selection", an annual event that gauges public opinion on the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) government’s performance, has officially launched, inviting citizens to vote on key policy initiatives over the past year.
Launched by Wen Wei Po, the poll is co-organized by 30 media outlets, including Ta Kung Pao, China Daily, Now TV, Ming Pao, Sing Tao Daily, South China Morning Post, RTHK, Now Finance and HK01 and supported by 54 community groups.
Since its inception in 1998, the event has served as a bridge between the public and policymakers, allowing residents to reflect on the government’s work and voice expectations for future priorities while the SAR government has consistently valued the poll as a barometer of societal concerns.
The public can vote via the official website (https://top10.wenweipo.com). To encourage broad involvement, the event offers prizes of up to HK$6,000 cash as well as "most active participation" accolades for schools and organizations.
