Promoting mutual learning among civilizations

HONG KONG - The International Forum on Mutual Learning among Civilizations began in Macao on Tuesday, bringing together representatives from government departments and global organizations as well as experts from around the world to exchange views on history, civilizations and development for humanity and prosperity. 

Themed “Mutual Learning among Civilizations, Inheritance and Development”, the two-day forum featured over 20 thematic sessions and academic exchange sessions conducted by over 50 representatives from government departments, international organizations, top experts and scholars from nearly ten countries.

Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region government, and supported by the Chinese Academy of History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the event aims to establish a platform for dialogue and offer insights to foster understanding and respect among civilizations.
