HONG KONG - Junior Police Call (JPC) members visited the “80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression” exhibition at Yuen Long's Experience Hall in Hong Kong on Friday.
The visit was part of the JPC’s education program on history and civic responsibility. Students viewed displays and historical records highlighting the impact of the war on Hong Kong and the wider region.
Marking 80 years since the end of the war, the exhibition focuses on a rescue operation by the Dongjiang Column that bring hundreds of patriotic cultural figures to safety.
China Daily's Andy Chong took the photos on Friday.
