HONG KONG - Editors and journalists from ASEAN nations participating in the ASEAN Media Capacity Building Workshop visited key innovation and media institutions in Hong Kong on Wednesday to learn about developments in the fields of artificial intelligence, low-altitude economy, and regional media collaboration.

At Cyberport, the group visited iFlytek’s headquarters, where they were introduced to its intelligent voice interaction systems and experienced real-time translation tools. They also toured Harmony Technology, which outlined its work in unmanned aerial systems and Hong Kong’s role in advancing low-altitude economic infrastructure across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Later, participants visited the China Daily Hong Kong office in Tin Wan for a media exchange session focused on newsroom practices and cross-border cooperation.

The workshop is organized by the Information Services Department of the HKSAR Government and co-hosted by China Daily to enhance regional media exchange and capacity building.
